Braving the December Night

It was just the two of us, Jim Glover and myself, though I invited everyone via email.
We left from my house and did a little less than 2 hours out in the Scotia gamelands out here in stormstown.
We both over dressed a bit, Jim more than me, and luckily his new gloves, just bought today, were warm enough.
Score another positive recommendation from the Bicycle Shop. About the closest thing we had to a mechanical problem
(besides my perpetually squeaking disk brakes) was having to get out the multitool to open up the slit on Jim's
new bite valve on his camelback. It never did get too cold because my sip tube never froze.  Of course Jim didn't
worry about it because he has an insulator for his tube!  As all good rides should be followed up with, we carb
reloaded with a fine winter brew, Snow goose, back at my place, while we drooled over my pictures from riding out
in Moab and Colorado.  As long as it stays dry we plan to ride again the first week in January.
So anyone that wants to take off their skirt and put on tights, is welcome to join us.
