Thickhead Mountain Deadfall....again. - 2006/09/16 11:15
I noticed on my ride today that someone did a great job of cleaning up the deadfall on Thickhead Mountain along with the shorter passage that leads to Penn Lookout.
However, at the top of Thickhead right as you can turn left to go to the old fire tower, there is another tree down. It has fallen very recently. You can currently walk and cycle over it without any trouble - but it has 5 or 6 major branches spread over the entirety of the passage. I cleaned up the stuff I could move by hand, but the tree at some point (not urgent) will require attention.
Thanks to whomever cleaned up the larger stuff on Thickhead. It is nice not to have to dismount anymore!
