EndosRFun Does this count? - 2009/11/22 14:30 FWIW - I cleared a bunch of downed limbs off Thickhead Mountain Road on Saturday - all the ones we could move by hand we tossed over the side. There are still a bunch of downed trees on the lower end by the 4H camp. Does this count a trailwork or is Thickhead Mountain Road not really considered a trail? Also, I noticed a sign post for Long Mountain Trail. Is that trail rideable? I had heard it dumps out in Seeger somewhere but couldn't find the other end driving down Stone Creek Road.

kevinb Re:Does this count? - 2009/11/22 18:14 sure that counts. as far as Long Mountain goes, its mostly a jeep trail that heads down from the top. It hits Stone Creek road just up from Seegar at a yellow gate, and last I knew there was a sign post for it there. As far as ridability, there is a really steep hike-a-bike not for in from thickhead, there is a nice bit of single track at the top, then jeep trail most of the way down.
