DonnaM Sunday Ride?? - 2009/10/31 10:05 Thinking 'bout a ride Sun. Probably local for me. Time is open... was hoping to do something a little longer. Maybe start @Shingletown Gap up to Old Laurel, down to 3brdgs., up Lonberger to Tux., across Ridge, down Br.Tp., back to Shingletown.

Nice thing for anyone who has less time... lots of ways to cut the ride shorter. Donna

Would you consider adding Charcoal Flats? We could start at the gate on Laurel Run Rd., down Charcoal Flats, up Shingletown, 3 Bridges, Longaberger, Tux, Ridge, Beer Tap, Camp Trail, back to Laurel Run Rd gate.

Not that I don't like the ride you describe. Both are great!

Kvs Re:Sunday Ride?? - 2009/10/31 13:37 How about the afternoon? Say 2? I have a commitment in the morning, but likely have a sitter in the afternoon. Having been inside (airport, airplane, hotel, hospital) for way too much time and exercising hardly at all in the past 2 weeks, I am desperate for some fresh air. Kendra

Park Laurel Rd./Shingletown Gate. Charc.Flts./up Lower Shingletown/back to Laurel Rd./up to Old Laurel Tr./if drier (if not take the rd. down)/to 3Br./Lonberger/to Tux./Ridge/Br.Tp./Camp./back up to cars. The afternoon would work better for me.
