cj54wdr question about hunting seasons - 2009/10/26 11:42 So when is it OK and not OK to be riding up in Rothrock now that hunting season is beginning? Obviously rifle season is way off limits and riding during wild turkey season is probably not a good idea either. I am just thinking of say a loop up camp trail to the ridge and down longberger.

We try to encourage folks to stay off Camp trail during hunting season, as a good portion of it is on private land. Otherwise, if you avoid the mornings in the rest of the forest, you are probably OK right now.
The other seasons of concern are Bear Season (the week before Thanksgiving) and Spring Gobbler. I would guess we are going to see more folks out for Bear season this year, as the bears have been really active on our side of the forest it seems.
