Re:W101 pre-race work - 2009/07/24 09:08
Well, I'm planning to ride the last 45 miles of 101 on Saturday (from top of Seeger to Coburn). I could pack a bowsaw I suppose. I have never even ridden any of these trails and am hoping that I don't get lost tomorrow. I could move the trees that I encouter along the way....I'm not sure how much I'll be able to do with the brush......Would that be a help?? Are there chainsaw size trees (I wouldn't be able to get those)....
Here's my question, I've noticed that there is a diference between the 2006 map and 2008 map where I'd start. It looks like a trail called "Wallace" was used in the 2008 race (taking you to the west a bit). However, it wasn't used in the 2006 race. So.....which trail should I ride tomorrow?? Frank do you know yet??
My email is listed under the "alternate phone" under my profile. Just click on my profile and it should come up. Feel free to email me.

Chuck Norris once broke the land speed record on a bicycle that was missing its chain and the back tire. |
