kevinb lingle valley - 2009/05/31 19:11 theres a new deadfall at about head height just after the stream crossing before bear gap trail. It could probably come out with a pack saw.
Also curious if anybody knows anything about the bridge that is being constructed over the small tributary just after the steep section on lingle.

frank Re:lingle valley - 2009/05/31 23:14 IS it worse than the one someone is trying to build across the stream in shingletown, just below the old reroute? I REALLY need to get in there and cut that one out.

Allen Re:lingle valley - 2009/06/01 05:26 I’ve been asking around and no one seems to know who is building it. It was their last Sunday. I haven’t been back since because Lingle Valley has been really muddy this year. The rain we had last week had to put a hurting no the wet areas.

EndosRFun Re:lingle valley - 2009/06/01 10:06 FWIW. Just to give a timeline, it was started sometime between 4/25 and the Sunday of the Greenwood group ride. Rode Lingle on 4/25 and there were no signs of anything being built and on the day of Greenwood group ride (can't remember the date but remember running into the group at the end of Beautiful) they had the 2 x 4's about half way across but no easy way to get on and off the bridge.
