hodog Senate Bill 850 - 2009/05/29 14:07 This bill will force DCNR to close 35-40 state parks. They have 50 under evaluation to close. They include every state park local to State College except Black Mo. Greenwood, Whipples, Penn Roosevelt, the Poes, Reeds Gap, the Hyners, RB Winter and McCall Dam could all be closed. Imagine 8 out of the 10 parks I just listed are no longer open. Forest roads (fireroads) will also be closed.

If you are against this call or email state reps and senators (mine are conklin and corman). Please reference senate bill 850.
