hodog NMBA Group events - 2009/05/18 10:23 Greenwood Furnace was a really fun day. Good ride, good people. These events are difficult to schedule with everyone so busy. If anyone has ideas about events please post - social events are the 'life' of the club. (drinking the IMBA kool-aid here)

I'll start:
I'd really like to do a Raystown ride some evening. Maybe 2 weeks from now to maximize daylight...I'll post it in rides later.

Allen Re:NMBA Group events - 2009/05/18 18:49 It was a really good day of riding. I found a water bottle on Upper Sass today. So if anyone lost a black water bottle with a over the bars club sticker on it I have it. A Raystown ride sounds cool. Also Laurel Highlands and Rattlin creek would be cool

Jim G Re:NMBA Group events - 2009/05/18 22:04 I'd like to do Rattling creek again one of these days. Also, it sounds like there might be some interest in doing the stoopid loop. A black mo loop would be good too.

The greenwood ride was great. Everyone really hung in there. Upper sass and pig pile could use some chainsaw attention. And what was up with the water on pig pile? It must have been 4 or 5 inches deep.

Allen Re:NMBA Group events - 2009/05/19 05:43 I’ve be doing a friendly stoopid pre-ride since it started. We usually take a day off work and do it. But it could be a Saturday or Sunday event. The ride we do is a no drop ride but it usually only about four people. The first year we parked a car at Greenwood and stopped their and had lunch. The second left a car before the hike a bike with supplies.

J. Stout Re:NMBA Group events - 2009/05/21 20:33 I had a really good time at greenwood furnace with everyone. I met a lot of new people - plus the ride and food were great! (even the amphibious maneuvers on pigpile)

Count me in on a Stoopid pre-ride, weekends are best.
