princess anybody want a decent hardtail? - 2009/02/25 18:27 theres a hardtail on the block locally here that might be suitable for someone here's the description:

This bike was bought new in 2002 and only used a few years, than sat idle until last summer.

Did some upgrades last summer including new rear wheel, UST tires, cables, brake pads, regreased headset, and fork oil change. But I lost interest in riding. Shifts are crisp and perfect.

This bike rides great with the tubeless tires, the steel frame, and marz fork. It won't rattle you like an aluminum frame.

Specs: Frame Size 17.5 ( I am 5' 10")

Steel tubing

Marz Bomber Z2 atom sport air fork with rebound adj

XT shifters, and rear derailer, LX front

Thompson seat post, race face cranks

Great reviews on this bike at MTBR

Located near Setauket trail, check it out after a ride.

Best reasonble offer. $$$$$$$$$$
