frank The Ridge is nice! - 2009/02/12 00:55 I did an out and back on the ridge today, starting at Tuxedo. Until you get around to the treaster side there is still some snow and then again heading down towards Kettle. But the entire rest of the ridge is clear of snow. There are several blow downs that will require a chainsaw, I may try to get to them either Friday or Monday.

frank Re:The Ridge is nice! - 2009/02/12 09:12 The roads were for the most part clear. In the shade, there was still snow on the edges and the crown. The problem would be if it dips below freezing, the melt that can't reach the creek will be black ice.
I am also guessing that Lonberger will be a mess, it would be good for all of us to stay of it still.

frank Re:The Ridge is nice! - 2009/02/13 21:26 I got up to the ridge today and cleared from the Gasline to Filmore. There was a ton of new blow down from yesterdays wind, easily three times as much as there had been on Wednesday. Nothing too big, but lots of little sticks to grab derailleurs.
I'll try to get the rest of it next week.
IF folks ride over the weekend, post what trails are in rough shape please.
