nabilkamal Deadfall on John Wert - 2008/10/31 17:06 Rode John Wert today (Oct. 31) and there is a deadfall about halfway down the trail. If you are coming up the trail from Thickhead it's before the huge rock garden. It's about 6 or 7 inches in diameter and hanging 2 feet in the air so you have to get off to go over it.

While I'm on it. John Wert really needs some trail maintenance. From the huge rock garden to Bear Meadows its really grown over and getting hard to ride.

princess Re:Deadfall on John Wert - 2008/11/05 13:09 i've lauded a day of clearing bcak the trail on wert for almost 2 years. it's really bad at night when the foliage will get in the way of your light's beam and render the trail dark.

Allen Re:Deadfall on John Wert - 2009/07/08 16:34 I hope this isn’t still the same one that’s there still. But as I can remember I’ve had to ride over it all this year. If we left trees this long in Cooper’s there would be 100 posts about it. HO what about the Cooper’s Gap trail gnomes trail work. Guess I can let the two that are down there the rest of the year.

kevinb Re:Deadfall on John Wert - 2009/07/08 18:25 the difference is that people actually ride the coopers gap stuff more than once a year or so like wert. you have also set way to high a standard over there on the country boy trails. And we greatly appreciate it

hodog Re:Deadfall on John Wert - 2009/07/09 10:35 No WAY! I'm riding Cooper's today for the 3rd time this year. I want it clear!

I did take out a few logs over there before the Stoopid so you gnomes owe me!
