DonnaM Deadfall - 2008/10/06 21:22 Ok... Nabil said I should post this... even though you experts rarely go this way. As you come down from Longberger going to Laural Rd.... the ride end for most. When you stay left (the easy way) towards the small stream crossing and the white cabin, there is a small diam.(12"-16"?) tree across the entire trail. It comes about handlebar height, and there is very little room to build-up on the side to ride over. Last weeks' beg.ride was a life saver w/ lights because the poor soul who could have hit it wouldn't have gotten up too quickly. PS(It's where the trail will split right or left... the more advanced riders obviously go down the right side to Laural before crossing to Carcass and out. I guess a chainsaw would be appropriate... THANKS!! Donna

Demon of the Fall Re:Deadfall - 2008/10/06 22:51 Carcass rules! Their reunion tour was amazing this year....and it's a pretty good trail.

frank Re:Deadfall - 2008/10/07 15:37 The offending tree is gone. Unfortunately, the same can not be said for Death Metal.

kevinb Re:Deadfall - 2008/10/08 09:28 aaron has a passion for "death metal" music and does not usually take kindly to any disparaging remarks about it, thus my comment.

Demon of the Fall Re:Deadfall - 2008/10/08 15:04 Carcass tour recap from their guitarist and live video. I saw them in Baltimore last month and it was awesome. We rode Carcass in the dark last night and it was scary!

nabilkamal Re:Deadfall - 2008/10/10 09:36 Kevin, you used the word "passion" to describe Aaron's love of crappy music. That's like saying Ho has a "passion" to road ride...both complete understatements!
