kevinb charcoal flats logging - 2008/04/29 21:15 I went up Laurel run rd this evening and they are cutting in the access/skidder road to the logging area in the charcoal flats area. not sure what that means for acutally starting to log, but be aware if you are going to be up in that area

hodog Re:charcoal flats logging - 2008/05/15 14:01 I rode back the logging access road a bit last night. It goes a long way - it may cross Sand Spring or go to Whipple's. Who knows? It sure is long. I take it the horse & mule logging operation was pure flim-flam. This road was built for trucks.
