princess princess's bike bazaar - new items added - 2008/01/29 22:18 so i've decided i'm gonna do a lot more 1x9 this year after only using the granny ring 4 times last year.

i've got a few derailleurs and some shifters on the block, plus of course other stuff as well.

pics on request, but i'll try to get some up for everyone. and of course, if you don't like my prices make me an offer. the worst that happens is i keep the thing and justify building another bike because of it.

1. XT front derailleurs your choice $10 each *these can be shimmed to smaller 28.6 clamp diameter.
---31.8 top pull top swing qty: 2
---31.8 bottom pull bottom swing qty: sold out!

2. XT 9sp left shifter pod m750 $10

3. LX 8sp left shifter pod m569 $5

4. XT 9sp integrated shifter/brake levers. for use with cable brakes NOT hydros m750 $sold to acr140
5. dia compe vc758 v brake caliper $sold to kberg

6. FSA mega exo external bearing BB *new bearings (i love the phil tool!) $20 each qty: 2

7. XT 9sp 44t big ring *new. came on my stumpy. we all know big rings are for sissies. $10

8. shimano sh51 cleats. *new $5 a pair qty: 2 pair left

9. wellgo 98a cleats *new $5 if anyone still uses these things.

10. specialized sawpit shoes size 41 i rode them 3 times and ordered the version with laces. $25

11. easton ea50 flat bar 25.4 clamp $10

11.5 chinese is here, more tomorrow including the good stuff.

12. specialized s works xc carbon bar. 31.8 low rise. i don't trust carbon, so took it off in favor of an enduro with a little more rise. HOWEVER, i'll call it the same as the easton above because you can clearly see where the stem and levers were clamped. $Sold to gharris

13. DT swiss 240 rear hub. laced once and ridden a couple months, but sadly the swiss rim was too soft for the rocks and flat spotted. hub is in perfect shape. $100

14. sram x-0 trigger shifters. carbon version. i tried these since they were "infinitely adjustable" and would work with my short thumbs. sadly, my thumb is a sissy's thumb and it actually hurts to push these levers from time to time, so i'm going back to shimano's lighter action. $Sold on Ebay

15. sram x-0 long cage rear derailleur. not black box cage. functions perfectly, with a couple small scratches, but never wrecked. selling because i'm selling the shifters. $Sold on Ebay

16. magura marta SL red version. despite the fact that i'm magura cult member d66, i've never been into their disc brakes. these didn't change my mind, i much prefer my shimano xt's. no front rotor but the 180mm rear rotor and adapter is included. a couple cosmetic scratches, but function well. post mount front and IS rear mounting. $Sold on Ebay
maybe some more later. not sure. pizza time.

princess Re:princess's bike bazaar - 2008/01/30 10:01 Ray,

i have to say yes. i honestly cannot remember where i got it from or why i have it (i don't like flat bars one bit)

but despite the fact that it hasn't a scratch on it, you can easily see where the stem and levers were clamped on the bar, so i'll call it used.

i never did specify the 25.4 clamp dia. either.

that was gonna be my next question.

i'll probably pass though as bars are the one thing i replace on my bike on a regular schedule and i always go with new ones.

thanks

acr140 Re:princess's bike bazaar - new items added - 2008/02/06 12:33 I would have PM'd you but I am not sure how that works, so oh well.

I will take the dual control shifterd/levers if they are in good working order. (this is for the set right?)

I am also interested in the Shoes... will they provide any warmth for cold weather riding, or are they too well ventilated? Regardless I would like to check them out.

I can stop by the shop tomorrow evening between 5:15 and 6:00 if that works.

Let me know,

Thanks,

Aaron R.

princess Re:princess's bike bazaar - new items added - 2008/02/06 22:45 Aaron,

there aren't PM's on this forum. so that aspect of the trading is kind of limited.

but the price is a pair. i'll take them to the shop tomorrow. and the shoes too, i gotta go dig them out of wherever i hid them.
