Lonberger Reroute Idea - 2007/12/09 13:51
So the place where the Lonberger reroute connects back into the original trail on the northern end had been getting messier all summer, and now really is a big mudhole.
Would it be reasonable to consider "extending" the reroute a little further so that it intersects about 100-150 feet uphill from that mudhole, closer to the deer fence? I know that there will always be bad spots on that trail, but not only is that place nearly always muddy, it is a 70 degree turn at the bottom of a little downhill with a little uphill into a rock garden. I.e. it doesn't flow a single bit.
