princess Re:Quehanna Area Group Ride 11/4 - 2007/11/04 21:37 seven hells, how i hate you all.

aemon and i settled in for a typical boring rothrock ride. he's not tired after 10 miles anymore, but sadly, i am.

i ran into a couple of young gentlemen by names of preston and darrel who were rebuilding the escalator on TMT. we hung out and discussed the frankenbike a bit until darrel fell off and broke his ankle (at least we think so)

so there you have it. while you guys all went out and had a good time, i stayed home slaving over a hot oven...

next year aemon will be able to come along on the longer rides, so i'll hate you all a little less.

hodog Re:Quehanna Area Group Ride 11/4 - 2007/11/05 09:18 Thanks to Yoda for setting this up! It was cool meet 'Uncle Dave' who has been exploring trails in the area for 15 years and still hasn't run out yet. I'll definitely be back - maybe to do a little skiing??? Demon of the Fall Re:Quehanna Area Group Ride 11/4 - 2007/11/05 10:54 ...& HO. You forgot to mention yourself. It was a great ride. There are some nice trails at Rockton. It is great to learn new territory and Rockton isn't far from State College. We had a nice turnout and a great group. Thanks alot to Yoda for setting this up and to Dave Walker and Shane Gouldthread for guiding us. These are some good guys to know to learn more moutain biking territory in the Clearfield/Elk/Jefferson county region. There is alot of stuff out there!

Denny's was an excellent choice for post ride recovery!Good chili, burgers, and beer.
