kevinb Re:Ross? - 2006/10/11 14:44 I guess its just that it has probably the steepest normally riden section in it of any of the trails in rothrock (im sure there are some rediculous hiking trails that are steeper but again, we ride this one pretty regularly). Its also a bit of a pain to get to and puts you out away from most of the other riding so its a bit of a commitment to do it. Theres also some really fun, tought technical rock sections as well as some deadfall on downhill sections that you can easily endo on (been there, done that). and the fern section at the bottom can be a nerve tester as you cant see the ground and you just hope you dont run into anything big.
but HO made up the question so Ill defer to his official ruling

hodog Re:Ross? - 2006/10/11 15:15 I ride this once a year on Bergman's "Ross" Epic ride. Kevin's description of the trail being out the way, rocky, w/ deadfall, and a particular steep rideable section are right on. That is why it is on the user profile.

acr140 Re:Ross? - 2006/10/11 15:51 Yeah, I have ridden the trail before, I just didnt underdstand what made it deserve a spot on the user profile. It is very steep though. Thanks for the replies!
