Yoda Re:Roots, Rocks, Raggae? Maybe it's Ridges - 2007/09/11 20:06 That's the response I was looking for! Although what I meant to include was "without mid-race beer".

I'd like to but... there is an HMBA 100 mile trail ride/fundraiser in the Hoosier Uplands that weekend. Yeah, I know I gotta cut my pseudo roots sometime but those trails are deep, very deep, in my heart.

Of course, having said that, I am a fair weather trail rider so if it looks like it is going to rain about 570 miles west of here that weekend and no rain about 150 miles north of here I might just make it up there.

Sorta on topic--I was checking out the WNYMBA (I think) forum and there is controversy a brewing about this event. It sounds like some under garments got bunched and twisted, mostly about the event date and such. Check it out if you didn't get your fill of tabloid trash while waiting in line at the grocery store.

frank Re:Roots, Rocks, Raggae? Maybe it's Ridges - 2007/09/12 09:31 OF the three races I have started this year, the only one I finished I had beer twice during. Coincidence? I think not. As for the Ellicottville trip, I wish I could, but I will be in Vegas for Interbike all week before it and then Beth is doing the Mega-transect in Lock Haven on Saturday.
