Raymo853 Sun May 13th Trailwork Report - 2007/05/13 20:47 The original plan for May 13th was to re-route Brush Ridge near the Pennepacker Camp. The trail is not honestly a trail, but an route through an intermittent stream bed.

Only five of showed, not giving us enough labor to do the job right. The alternative plan was to just try to make a single more viable line that would be more out of the stream bed. We sawed out trees, did some minor re-routes and a whole bunch of rock armoring and improved the trail a good bit. Please ride it when you get a chance and provide some feedback.

frank Re:Sun May 13th Trailwork Report - 2007/05/13 23:28 I would still like to get the reroute finished at some point, as the work we did to day was really just a band aid for what will always be a problem. The trail isn't so much a stream bed as it is spring fed ditch. No matter where the trail wanders across the bottom there, it is going to be wet at certain times of the year, much worse than lonberger. Actually, the work we did today should fix my biggest problem with the trail, the wetland plant life that is just tall enough to cover all the rocks and holes, just begging to stuff a wheel in.
