Just thought I'd pass it along for anyone interested in helping out while proudly wearing your fancy NMBA t-shirt! Chuck Norris once broke the land speed record on a bicycle that was missing its chain and the back tire.

herrhaus Re:Black Moshannon State Park workday.... - 2009/09/23 11:30 From my understanding, this is actually a general workday that is held within the park. I guess there is stuff to do like trash pickup, etc.

However, there is a good fello out there (Brian) who does lot's of work on trails. Apparently, they (the organizers) allow him to work on the trails. I believe that he has been putting a new trail along Beaver Road somewhere in this general vicinity: URL for this route is: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=3211893

princess Re:Black Moshannon State Park workday.... - 2009/09/23 13:48 yup. i seem to recall before i left town there was a guy at the park names chris reese. he gave me the info on this gig and it's just a general day of helping out at the park. he did seem very enthusiastic about getting people on board for future endeavors tho...
