hodog Re:TRAIL CONDITIONS? - 2007/11/22 20:38 Turkey Day report: Wet Leaves, slick rocks, slippery roots and logs. Anything downhill was a white knuckle prayer-fest. Rock gardens with leaves were vicious. All in all superb conditions except for the wet fireroads which covered you with mud!

zero Re:TRAIL CONDITIONS? - 2007/11/23 09:25 thanks guys
we rode tuesday and wednesday night down here in the tuscarora. tuesday was like riding on ice. leaves were slick....rock were even slicker. it was one of those rides that honed your skills 'cause if you weren't on your game all the time you were on the ground. thot i might make it north on turkey day but that dream kinda went by the way side. oh well.

Allen Re:TRAIL CONDITIONS? - 2007/11/23 10:57 That’s how the trails are here plus a lot of derailleur breakers. Single speeds or short cages suggested. The night rides are fun, slippery and the trails hard to find sometimes. It all give the trails a new twist.
