I agree with Alan, the race course was much better than in years past. A nice mix of trails. The gas line climb was a killer. I was the slow guy on our team with my first lap at 1:30 and my night lap at 1:40. I was actually the last rider on the course, finishing my last lap at around 11:45pm. Attendance this year was low. Hopefully the new course will attract some more riders next year. The prize selection was great, they were giving away Nite Rider light systems, Club Jerseys (Tico Ridge Riders Bike Club), and a whole assortment of other cycling gear. Probably the best thing about this race is that it is held at Ole Bull State Park that has modern shower facilities etc, so you can clean up between laps, and your friends/family can camp while you race. The Park staff is really laid-back during the race weekend which is always nice.
