Demon of the Fall Re:Stoopid awesome event - 2009/06/16 10:06 It was a great event. Awesome course! Beautiful weather and amazing scenery for 50 miles. The race took its toll on me because I am still sore. Glad I did it though.

herrhaus Re:Stoopid awesome event - 2009/06/16 12:19 Looks like a lot of fun. Too bad I couldn't make it. Maybe next year. Sunday's are hard for me.....Saturday next year?? Chuck Norris once broke the land speed record on a bicycle that was missing its chain and the back tire.

kevinb Re:Stoopid awesome event - 2009/06/17 10:51 does your garmin give you a total accent? and if so, what was that?

Allen Re:Stoopid awesome event - 2009/06/17 16:26 My Garmine will show a difference of a coupe mile on the same loop. If I ride from to Cooper’s from my house I’m almost spot on with the Garmine and the computer I have on the bike 10 miles Ride Long cut, Deer Tick and they are off. The Garmine plots a point every three seconds and straight lines from point to point. Look at your speed on it the next time you are doing tight twisty single track. Probable going much faster then it reads.

jmblg Re:Stoopid awesome event - 2009/06/17 20:30 my garmin has been messed up on the altitude since the spring. i can't get it reset and i've read were others have the same problem. i show tussey to be at 9500 ft. Madison's has been working and he got 7354; i've heard from others the stoopid was in the 7000 ft range.
