NMBA teaches mountain biking at women's event - 2009/05/17 21:58 This past Saturday, May 16, 2009 the Nittany Mountain Biking Association in conjunction with the Bicycle Shop held a mountain biking seminar as part of the Women in the Outdoors event at Black Moshannon State Park.

Instructors Amber Krieg, Mark Werkheiser, Kirsty Lloyd, Nabil Mark, and Carol Younkins educated and introduced mountain biking to women who had never experienced it before. 8 women attended the event 7 of which had never been mountain biking previously. It was a great event and we got excellent reviews from the participants!

A special thank you goes to Erik Scott at the Bicycle Shop who donated all the bikes for the event, gave water bottles to all the participants, and also gave them all $10 gift cards.
